Personal Storytelling Workshop

This is a workshop on effective story structure, essential elements of a compelling story, techniques for identifying and developing a story, and direction on presenting stories live. Over the course of the workshop, participants will develop a short story drawn from their life to share with colleagues, family, and friends at a final storytelling showcase.

Dates: Saturdays, January 18th, 25th and February 1st at 1:00pm to 3:30pm

Showcase: Friday, February 7th at 7:00pm.

Cost: $75 for members of A2CT, $93.75 for non-members

Brian Cox Bio

Brian Cox is the artistic director of Pencilpoint TheatreWorks and producer of the popular storytelling event “Snapshots: Stories from Life.” He has directed and produced multiple new and 10-minute play festivals, including Fight Like A Girl and Ypsi-Thrive. He has had numerous 10-minute plays produced in festivals around the country. His full-length play Clutter received its world premiere at Theatre Nova in 2017 and received a Wilde Award for Best New Script.
