Set in a rural Russian estate, Uncle Vanya follows a group of characters as they grapple with their feelings of dissatisfaction and unfulfilled dreams.

Meet-up Club

Our brand new autumn house troupe – Everyone's Boyfriend – is set to debut this month! Come see what they've been cooking up at practices with their coach, Graham Leslie, over the summer. Each show will include two fantastic guest troupes opening the evening. Shows continue throughout the fall on the last two Saturdays of each month - tickets are $15 and doors open at 7:30pm.
Our monthly Improv Meet-Up Club is intended for people (age 16+) who have never taken an improv class before or have only taken a beginner class, but experienced improvisers who are open to playing with new improvisers are very welcome. Meet-ups are scheduled for 5:30-7:30pm before the first show of each month with a "pay-what-you-can" suggested donation.
And following the 9/28 show, we'll also be hosting a Halloween-themed Challenge Night at 9:30pm - our version of a long-form improv jam that anyone can participate in. Come play, or just cheer people on from the audience! Tickets can be purchased by clicking the button below.
A2CT Relocation News
We are writing to share significant news regarding the Ann Arbor Civic Theatre. We will be relocating by August 2025 following the announcement that our longtime home at 322 W. Ann Street has been put up for sale. Thanks to the efforts of Board President Suzi Peterson, we have secured a guaranteed space at 322 W. Ann Street until August 31, 2025, even if the property is sold before then.
This move marks a new chapter for A2CT, providing us with the opportunity to reimagine and redefine the future of our space.
